B.Tech Programmes: Candidates must have passed 12th standard (or equivalent) from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as core subjects. They must qualify in JEE Main with a valid score and secure an All India Rank (AIR) within the cutoff range set by JOSAA for general/OBC/SC/ST categories. Eligibility varies by category and programme specialisation.

M.Tech Programmes: Applicants must hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology (B.E/B.Tech) from a recognised institution with a minimum aggregate score (typically 50-55% or equivalent CGPA). A valid GATE score in the relevant discipline is mandatory. Selection is based on GATE rank, academic performance, and written test/interview conducted by the institute.

MBA Programme: Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in any discipline with a minimum aggregate score. A valid CAT score or NITK's own entrance exam score is required for shortlisting. Work experience (if any) and graduation marks are considered during the selection process.

NITK Surathkal Launches Centre for Blue Economy and Coastal Engineering Research

National Institute of Technology Karnataka Surathkal has formally inaugurated a new Centre for Blue Economy and Coastal Engineering Research (CBECER), leveraging its unique geographic advantage on the Karnataka coastline.
