However, for BA Hons. Economics, comfort with mathematics is important as the course involves calculus and econometrics.
CUET UG has 50 MCQs per subject (attempt 40), each worth 5 marks (200 marks total per paper), with +5/−1 marking, and 60 minutes per paper. It has 4 sections: Section IA (Language), Section IB (Language), Section II (Domain Subjects), and Section III (General Test). For BA Honours, the domain subject paper is mandatory.
NEP 2020 introduced the Four-Year Undergraduate Programme (FYUP) with multiple exit options: Certificate (1 year), Diploma (2 years), Degree (3 years), Honours (4 years), and Honours with Research (4 years). DU implemented FYUP from 2023-24. The 4-year Honours with Research option enables direct PhD admission without MA.
