SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination (SRMJEEE) is a university-level entrance examination conducted by SRM Institute of Science and Technology for admission to Engineering & Technology programmes across India. The exam is conducted in online mode with a duration of 2 hours for a total of 125 marks . SRMJEEE is held once a year. Currently, 1+ colleges in India accept SRMJEEE scores for admission.

SRMJEEE 2026 Eligibility Criteria

SRMJEEE counselling is conducted entirely by SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST) through its own centralised counselling authority. There is no involvement of JoSAA, MCC, or CSAB, as SRMJEEE is a university-level entrance examination for admission to SRM's own campuses (Kattankulathur, Ramapuram, Vadapalani, NCR Delhi, and Amaravati).

Note: Candidates seeking admission to SRM campuses other than Kattankulathur (such as SRM AP or SRM Haryana) may have separate counselling processes; always check the specific campus admissions portal for updated schedules.

• Result Declaration: SRMJEEE results are published on the official SRM admissions portal (admissions.srmist.edu.in). Candidates can check their rank and scorecard using their registered credentials.
• Online Registration for Counselling: Qualified candidates must register for counselling on the SRM admissions portal within the specified window. A non-refundable counselling registration fee is paid at this stage.
• Choice Filling & Locking: Candidates fill in their preferred combinations of campus, programme, and specialisation in order of priority. It is advisable to fill as many choices as possible to maximise allotment chances. Choices must be locked before the deadline - unlocked preferences are not considered.
• Seat Allotment - Round 1: Seats are allotted based on SRMJEEE rank, category, and filled choices. The allotment result is published on the portal.
• Fee Payment & Seat Confirmation: Candidates allotted a seat must pay the semester fee online within the stipulated time (typically 2-3 days) to confirm the seat. Failure to pay results in automatic cancellation of the allotted seat.
• Subsequent Allotment Rounds: SRM typically conducts 2-3 rounds of seat allotment. Candidates who were not allotted a seat or wish to upgrade their choice can participate in subsequent rounds. Seats vacated by non-confirming candidates are re-pooled.
• Document Verification: After final seat confirmation, candidates must report to the allotted SRM campus for physical document verification. Required documents include: Class 10 & 12 mark sheets and certificates, SRMJEEE admit card and rank card, transfer certificate, migration certificate, community/category certificate (if applicable), passport-size photographs, and Aadhaar card.
• Reporting & Enrolment: After successful document verification and payment of remaining dues, candidates complete the admission formalities and are enrolled into their respective programmes.

SRMJEEE 2026 Cutoff Scores

SRMJEEE cutoff is the minimum score required by candidates to qualify the examination and become eligible for the next stage of admission. The cutoff is determined by SRM Institute of Science and Technology based on factors like total number of candidates, difficulty level of the paper, and availability of seats.
